Zusammenfassung
Innerhalb von Profit-orientierten Organisationen (PO), auch als erwerbswirtschaftlicher oder Untemehmenssektor bezeichnet, hat sich bereits seit mehr als einem Jahrzehnt die Erkenntnis durchgesetzt, dass ohne ein effektives Marketing die langfristige Überlebensfähigkeit eines Unternehmens nicht gesichert werden kann. Marketing, zunächst vereinfacht verstanden als die Orientierung aller Aktivitäten einer Organisation am Markt, ist mithin eine notwendige — wenn auch keineswegs hinreichende — Bedingung für langfristigen Organisationserfolg.1
