Abstract
In this chapter, we describe the empirical study conducted in order to validate the proposed theoretical models. The chapter is broken down into four main sections: (1) Research Design, (2) Questionnaire Development, (3) Survey Implementation and (4) Data Analysis. The first section presents the overall plan for the empirical study, establishing guidelines for data collection and analysis. The second section summarizes the process of questionnaire development, including pretesting procedures and the operationalization and measurement of the main constructs. Section three describes the survey implementation process. The final section provides an overview of the statistical methods applied in hypothesis testing, as well as an evaluation of the reliability and validity of the constructs operationalized in this study.
