Abstract
In this chapter, we discuss those model variants which elude a closed form analysis. We begin by laying open simulation details explaining the intricacies of the model parametricization and the model implementation. Then, we establish the base case against which we compare all other cases. The base case corresponds to the case we have analyzed in chapter 4. For the base case, we assume the agents to be non-cooperative, protective of preliminary design information and highly aggressive in optimization. In the following, we present how simulation outcomes are affected by cooperation, the exchange of preliminary information, changing the optimization mode and reducing the effective network size by disregarding some of the technical interdependencies. We conclude the chapter by making the source of equivocality the subject of our discussion.
