Abstract
The fourth chapter unveils indications for the change paradigms’ conceptual variables/factors and their causal interrelations. It discusses the results and their implications. Data examination, i.e. pattern-matching and time-series analysis (Yin, 1994, pp. 106–118), confirmed both theoretical frameworks’ goodness of fit with the case study. Depending on the underlying perspectives of culture, each highlights a sequence of critical success factors and prior explanations of success and failure for KMS implementation projects. Following the theoretical foundation’s structure, their explanatory power and shortcomings are discussed.
