Zusammenfassung

Menschenrechtliche Problemstellungen und die Forderung nach demokratischen Strukturen sind im Rahmen der internationalen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (EZ) in den letzten Jahren zunehmend in den Vordergrund gerückt. Dementsprechend haben die Programme aller wichtigen bilateralen Geber die Förderung von Menschenrechten und Demokratie, zumindest auf einer programmatischen Ebene, zu einem wesentlichen Kriterium der eigenen Aktivitäten gemacht.
