Zusammenfassung

Slowenien wurde 1991 gegründet. Der ostmitteleuropäische Staat ging beim Zerfall des sozialistischen Bundesstaats Jugoslawien aus dem entwickeltsten Gebiet hervor. Slowenien grenzt im Westen an Italien, im Norden an Österreich und im Osten an Kroatien. Es ist Mitglied des Europarats und bewirbt sich um die Mitgliedschaft in der Europäischen Union und NATO.
