Zusammenfassung

Mitte der 90er Jahre setzte auch in Organisationen der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit die Debatte über die Rolle von „Wissen“ und „Wissensmanagement“ ein. Sie war zunächst von dem Wunsch geprägt, entwicklungspolitisch relevantes Know-how sowohl innerorganisatorisch besser nutzbar zu machen als auch den Partnerländern einen besseren Zugang zu diesem Wissen zu verschaffen.
