Während die Politik „sich ihres Verstandes“ bedient, hat die Wissenschaft die Vernunft. Wissenschaft, so die Hoffnung, scheint die einzige Ratgebungsinstanz zu sein, die nur wissenschaftlich, also interessenfrei auftritt.
