Nous arrivons donc á cette conclusion générale: Le suicide varie en raison inverse du degré d’intégration des groupes sociaux dont fait partie l’individu. […] C’est donc que, dans le milieu commun qui les enveloppe, il existe quelque force qui les incline toutes dans ce même sens et dont l’intensiteé plus ou moins grande fait le nombre plus ou moins élevé des suicides particuliers (Durkheim 1912, S. 223 und 343).
