Zusammenfassung

Ende der sechziger Jahre hat Karl Rahner von der „noch unerfüllten Aufgabe der Theologie“ gesprochen, eine theologische Anthropologie zu entwerfen. Erläuternd füge er hinzu, dies gelte nicht in dem Sinn,

„daß die einzelnen Aussagen erst gefunden werden müßten […], sondern in dem Sinn, daß die katholische Theologie noch nicht jene aus einem ursprünglichen Ansatz heraus entwickelte Anthropologie hat, die der erreichten Erkenntnis des Menschen als ‘Subjekt’ entspricht“.837
