In diesem einleitenden Kapitel wollen wir weitestgehend ohne die Voraussetzung tieferer finanzmathematiseher Kenntnisse zunächst die wesentlichen Grundbegriffe und Definitionen anhand der elementaren Zinsprodukte einführen. Dennoch werden wir über die Standardprodukte, auch Plain Vanilla Produkte genannt, hinaus kleinere Ausblicke auf sog. exotische Produkte geben.
