Zusammenfassung
Computer haben nicht nur die Produktionsprozesse der Wirtschaft irreversibel verändert, sondern auch die Produktion ästhetischer Objekte und kultureller Kommunikations- und Ausdrucksformen. Die neuen digitalen Werkzeuge ermöglichen nicht nur neue Stilmittel, die ohne die Unterstützung durch den Computer nicht denkbar wären, sie sind vielmehr immer stärker ganz aktiv an kreativen Prozessen beteiligt. Produkte aller Art werden nicht mehr nur technisch produziert, sondern zunehmend auch mit technischer Unterstützung entworfen. Obgleich sich immer mehr Bereiche des Kreativen als programmierbar erweisen, gilt in den meisten theoretischen Modellen zur Kreativität noch der strikte Gegensatz von Inspiration und Mechanismus. Bisher fehlen noch geeignete Formalisierungen, die Kreativität als spontane Inspiration und gleichzeitig als soziales Produkt erklären könnten. Formale Modelle sind aber die Voraussetzung und operationale Grundlage für ein symbiotisches kreatives Zusammenwirken von Computer und Mensch. Erste Überlegungen zeigen, dass fundierte formale Modellierungen kreativer Prozesse auf grundlegende Probleme der theoretischen Informatik zurückführen, z.B. Selbstreferenz, Selbstmodifkation und Hierarchisierung in formalen Systemen.
