Zusammenfassung
Anwendungssysteme lassen sich heute nur dann sinnvoll in einen organisatorischen Kontext einbetten, wenn sie die funktionalen und die kooperativen Anteile der Arbeit integriert unterstützen. Bei der Gestaltung solcher Systeme sind daher beide Anteile sorgfältig zu untersuchen und in ihren Wechselwirkungen zu verstehen.
Während Menschen ohne Computerunterstützung oftmals informell zusammenarbeiten und sich flexibel koordinieren, müssen Kooperation und Koordination bei Anwendungssystemen ausdrücklich vorgesehen werden. Wir unterscheiden verschiedene Kooperationsmodelle, die entweder implizit oder explizit die Zusammenarbeit beschreiben und regeln.
Der Artikel stellt auf der Basis von Erfahrungen aus Softwareprojekten anwendungsfachlich motivierte Konzepte zur Ausgestaltung kooperationsunterstützender Anwendungssoftware vor, die die jeweiligen Erfordernisse an Flexibilität und Arbeitsorganisation berücksichtigen.
