Die Umsetzung und Verteilung von 9-14C-Phenanthren in Modellpflanzenkläranlagen unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Einflusses von gelösten Huminstoffen

Abstract

Studies were carried out to quantify sorption interactions, plant uptake and microbial degradation of 9-14C-Phenanthrene in laboratory-scale constructed wetlands for the determination of biotic and abiotic interactions in relation to various dissolved organic matter (DOM) concentrations in the system. The impact of DOM enhanced the specific activity both in the outflow of the system and the CO2 and also reduction in the specific activities of phenanthrene in soil as well as in the plant due to sorption interactions between the DOM and the pollutant. Furthermore, the results point out the slight increase in mineralization of phenanthrene to CO2 and increase in the overall efficiency with plant in comparison to unplanted system.
