Abstract

The three commonly used tools available for any financial statement analysis are: (i) the horizontal analysis, (ii) the vertical analysis, and (iii) the ratios’ analysis. Besides, financial analyst must assess and break down the reported earnings. A comparative financial ratios’ analysis assists the expert to assess the performance and earning within the industry.
