Abstract

Sexual anamnesis is much more than a collection of information about the sexuality of the patient and partner. It is a method to reconstruct the couple’s sexual style, the couple’s project, the partners’ past history, their relationship with their own bodies, the relationship with the other sex, and also the moment of surgical diagnosis in the process of the two-way relationship. This is a way of hypothesizing a priori patient compliance and the clinical investment of the surgical team.
