Abstract

Editor’s Note: All of us have disabilities to varying degrees and at times that we least expect. The voices of people with (dis)abilities need to be heard, all 57 million and counting in the United States alone. The following is one great testimony out of many that demonstrates the importance of understanding, respect, inclusion, and activities plus participation for all, part of the goals for the disability movement.
