Abstract

Twenty of the twenty-four bioreactors were active and viable. They were thriving, in fact. Even after all this time. How? Regardless, Gwen didn’t have time for mysteries. The fusion system was first priority. Safing the reactor was simpler than she had feared it would be. This one was old, but it had been updated with modern safety protocols, and a few hardware improvements. It would do nicely back home, help to bolster the teetering power grid.
