Abstract
This chapter is a promenade in the mental universe of Taghi Erani as it concerns political philosophy and formula for seizure of political power. Treatment is given of the evolution of his mind-set from early youth to his mature views. His critique of racial theory of history, in vogue not only in Nazi Germany but also Pahlavi Persia, is recounted. Reflections on Islam, secularism, and working from within the royalist system are elaborated. Economic statistics provide a stark view of reign of Reza Shah. Political program of Taghi Erani and his collaborators targeting the feudal-colonial nexus, inspired by the revolutionary republic in China, bode well in terms of novelty of content, but is flawed due to its misplaced view of Comintern as a trustworthy partner for execution of their political agenda.
