Abstract

To this point, PixInsight has afforded us the advantage of repairing images while they were linear. Whether an OSC master or a luminance and chrominance master, disabling the STF’s Auto Stretch is a reminder that our images are a long way from having the brightness and contrast necessary for graphical display on a monitor or in print.
