Strategy of Improving Skills of Innovation Managers in the Area of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies

Abstract

In the times of rapid market and technological changes industry is subjected for intensive development and flexibility capacity building especially in area of innovation introduction. Typically the focus is concentrated on technological and operational questions but at the bases of all there are strategic challenges that need to be answered. The key for success lies in hands of managers and CEOs, who have to cope with innovation management. This article presents new initiative of building advanced manufacturing capacities in SME of Central Europe, concentrated on managers skills. The multi-layer educational program development within the InnoPeer AVM project will be oriented on new international approach to building the potential related to AVM in local, small enterprises, as well as in leading companies.
