Abstract
Automated and concatenated processes can provide a solution to market conditions, such as more powerful and efficient manufacturing systems. In this context, frequently occurring automation components are electronic drive systems linked by electronic cam gears. The focus of this work is the determination of characteristic values for the design of electric drives, which allow a safe and efficient implementation of electronic cam gears taking into account a given accuracy. The characteristic value determination is based on the connection of the time and the image domain. For this purpose, the movement task is transferred by means of Laplace transformation into an image domain necessary for the implementation. The examinations are based on a simulation model whose results are to be confirmed at a test bench. In addition to previously common design methods, the determined characteristic values are intended to stating more precisely the static and dynamic design of drive systems for the implementation of electronic cam gears, and to enable them at an earlier point in time.
