Abstract
Using critical theory is an interdisciplinary undertaking because addressing the complexity of social relations requires insights from numerous fields of study. This chapter explains how the bundled social process of leadership has been left behind, for the time being, and instead, movement and direction were selected after smashing the dominant leadership definition scattering its constituent pieces. Deploying movement and direction offers energetic perspectives in forging a new path of discovery while exploring four broad disciplines.
