Abstract
Various global reports and projects have highlighted the importance of teachers’ roles, and dimensions of teachers’ motivations, skills and competencies in improving learning for all. For example, the EFA [Education for All] Global Monitoring Report 2014: Teaching and learning: Achieving quality for all discussed strategies that governments can employ to reform the teaching profession and achieve better quality of education (UNESCO, 2014).
