Abstract
Obesity has become endemic. However, the gonadal and reproductive changes in women with overweight or obesity, who do not have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), diabetes mellitus, or dysmetabolic syndrome, have not been studied well. This chapter summarizes available information on gonadal dysfunction in women with overweight or obesity. The role of adiposopathy in these problems is addressed.
