Abstract
For acceptance testing and routine testing of non-imaging intraoperative gamma probes, it is recommended to perform the tests described by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) in the publication Standard NEMA NU 3-2004 [1] and in dedicated publications of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) [2, 3]. Nevertheless, procedure of the tests does not need to be totally identical to that described in the NEMA standards or in the EANM standards.
