Abstract

Research on the cloud system is increasing among the various ways to deal with the data generated by the smart factory. In this paper, we propose cloud-based fog computing network architecture that can be efficiently used to store, analyze, and utilize the accumulated data in smart factories. We build and evaluate system modeling and testbed based on the proposed architecture. As a result, the cloud developed in the OpenStack can be used for smart factory operation, analyzing various types of data, and checking the status of real-time processing through a dashboard, making it the most suitable structure for a smart factory environment require processing.
