Abstract
The volunteered geographic information has been considered as a valuable source of information for disaster management. It may provide rapid essential information from the disaster area. However, this information has been generated by general people without any knowledge in spatial data concept. It is found that the quality of volunteered data have not considered for any emergency decision making. In the work, a statistical framework has been developed to validate the citizen generated spatial data for emergency decision making.
