Abstract
This chapter covers the management of ocular injuries in the adult patient, with medical and surgical treatment options, divided by the anatomical region of the eye involved.
It’s a practical reference for ophthalmologists and other physicians treating ocular trauma in the emergency room.
It contains up-to-date information on terminology, classification, and epidemiology and includes a score to predict final visual acuity of traumatized eyes.
