Abstract

Many educators are continuously in search of more efficient and effective ways to train their students in a given subject. The training methods, concepts and exercises utilized by Music educators to teach classical and jazz music has been refined over time and has a proven track record of producing excellent musicians. This paper seeks to investigate how industrial design education can be enhanced by applying classical and jazz music training methods and concepts.
