Ethical Issues in Child Abuse Research

Abstract

In collaborating on this book, our aim was to present a comprehensive review of seven essential topics within the field of child abuse research ethics. Given the paucity of published research in this area, we hope that the collective expert opinion represented here will be useful to researchers, policy-makers, REBs, pediatricians and others who look to advocate for children through research in this field. We have sought to provide evidence-based guidelines to inform the decisions of those involved in child abuse research.
