Abstract

This chapter describes the relationship between psychological empowerment and job satisfaction through data collected from employees in the banking sector. Results were analysed using standard statistical methods. Details of the analysis are reported in four phases. The profile analysis of respondents, analysis of responses of respondents toward the major variables, such as psychological empowerment, job satisfaction and job-related stress, hypothesis testing and model testing using structural equation modelling (SEM), are presented in various phases of analysis in the chapter. The results of confirmatory factor analysis and the Sobel test are also discussed.
