The inappropriate dosing and poor recognition of pain in the pediatric patient are a common pitfall for ED providers. This chapter focuses on both pharmaceutical and distraction/integrative therapy to help you achieve appropriate analgesia before performing that next laceration repair or lumbar puncture.
