Abstract

Since precise forecasting the future of economic operation is not possible, most of decisions are made with uncertain outcomes. One important facet of uncertainty is to assess economic risk. With the development and competition of regional economy, the importance of the quality of the regional economic operations is also increasing. Now the economic risk has been the decisive factor to regional economy. In order to avoid a certain risk, many industries to evaluate the economic risks in recent years. This article selected economic risks related economic indicators, and applied principal component analysis method. Then it selected 6 areas as the research samples and extracted the statistical data of 2007–2016 in these areas. This article concludes economic operations of Gansu have been in an uncertain state. That is, there is economic risk involved.
