Abstract
In recent years, applications such as image filtering are becoming increasingly popular in social media and technological apps. For this reason, it is important to develop image-filtering techniques that can deal with inherent noise when taking photos. This type of filters can serve in the process of retouching photos. This paper proposes an edge-detection noise-smoothing image filter based on partial differential equations. According to the results, this technique improves recovering of a distorted image against to conventional techniques.
