Abstract
Aneurism of extracranial arteries is quite a rare disease. Since 1977, totally 835 cases have been described in the world literature, out of which 116—in Chinese literature. Extracranial aneurisms occur in 0.8–1% of all aneurisms, while aneurisms of peripheral arteries—in 4% (Faggioli et al. 1996). They mostly involve bifurcation of CCA, ICA, and ECA or at same frequency—subclavian artery.
