Abstract

This chapter discusses technical aspects of laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (revised) including instrumentation and equipment; patient positioning; dissection; pouch, Roux limb and alimentary limb, gastrojejunostomy, and jejuno-jejunostomy and common channel creation; hemostasis, EGD, and drainage; and wound closure.
