Abstract
This chapter takes up notions of the fluid, which have long been central to feminist theorizing, in order to consider the memory of water. Locating water as sentient; that is, alive with its own potentiality, and drawing on the work of Astrida Neimanis, Sara Ahmed, Nancy Tuana, and Deborah Bird Rose, among others, it asks how humans might better think with and through water.
