Diversity and Identity in the Workplace

Abstract

As deliberated in the introduction, this book takes its point of departure as the exploration of the complex connections between the identity and diversity literature. We start this chapter by briefly summarizing the main findings when comparing the three lenses offered on the relation between identity and diversity: the social identity, critical and post-structural perspectives. We then proceed to discussing the implications for practice, as well as prospects for future research for each perspective and across them.
