Abstract
This chapter provides an extensive overview of the various methodological aspects of the study. It provides insight into the ontological and methodological foundations of the case study, which aims at identifying why Chilean B entrepreneurs create and maintain B Corps through the identification of their personal values and motivations at a single point in time. Designing the research in the form of a case study enables a more in-depth examination to yield rich and enlightening new information that could not be found in the context of other more pre-structured designs.
