Abstract

The chapter summarises the use of anti-corruption discourse in government politics and for political mobilisation—explaining along the way the relevance of corruption studies from a discursive perspective and with a focus on post-communist countries. Also outlined here are the theoretical assumptions of the discourse analysis, as well as the methodological approach and sources of empirical data. A brief look at contemporary Serbian politics is offered to provide the reader with context for analysis of political scandals in later chapters.
