Abstract
During the 1920’s, Marcel had arrived at the zenith of his career—he is extremely active both professionally and privately, and is engaged on many fronts. This is no doubt the reason why—unlike his father, his brother, and his son—he never kept a diary; he simply did not have the time to do so. And later, when the hours pass by with painful slowness and he would have had time, he no longer has the inclination.
