Abstract

Biodiversity and structure of algal–cyanobacterial communities were studied in soils of background plots in the undisturbed morainic landscape of Moscow region and in urban soils of different land-use zones in two administrative districts of Moscow. Their specific features were identified, and their relationships with the major directions of transformation of the properties of urban soils were shown.
