Abstract
Over the past few decades, many studies have shown that the characteristics of work in the healthcare sector have a deep impact on employee welfare.
Higher health levels for patients with congenital heart disease can be found in presence of a greater concentration of knowledge/expertise and nursing psychophysical well-being. The human factor is a key element in the production and delivery process of healthcare services, and thus it can influence the outcome. Working well-being is directly related to organizational health. A good work environment creates well-being if it is able to promote, maintain, and improve the quality of individuals’ life and the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the community of people working in that context.
