Abstract
Migraine surgery of the neck is about the release of three occipital nerves. The irritation, traction, and compression of these greater, lesser, and least occipital nerves in migraine patients can not only cause neck pain and stiffness; it can also be the primary source of referred pain to the forehead by means of the trigeminocervical relay.
