Abstract
Social workers are increasingly drawn to work in an international context. Their focus may be on social work education, research, community organization, and/or clinical services. This chapter discusses issues that may arise in the context of working cross-culturally across international borders and provides an overview of international conventions and agreements that are relevant in such situations.
