Abstract
Fossils, especially dinosaurs have the potential to draw the attention of many visitors. Ever since “Jurassic Park” they are part of the popular culture. With the first real Tyrannosaurs rex skeleton potentially on display, unexpectedly several challenges regarding reputation, audience development and exhibition premises came along for the team at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. The publication explains the circumstances, backgrounds and solutions of the concept of one of Germany’s most famous exhibitions, the display of Tristan Otto.
