Abstract
The concept of numerical control has been widely accepted by the manufacturing industries. Operators can communicate with the machine tool directly using the program of instructions written in symbols and numbers. With the passage of time and advancement in manufacturing field led to the development of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) systems. The present chapter is dedicated to part programming. The fundamentals of part programming have been demonstrated using three illustrations: CNC turning, CNC milling and program sample for Electric Discharge Machining (EDM).
