Abstract
The lush, green and dense forests found in Siruvani hills in the Western Ghats bordering the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu in South India, holds many deep secrets. Believed to be Lord Shiva’s mountain, the square shaped pond found in these hills was thought to have been built for the Lord’s wife, Parvathi.
