Abstract
This chapter introduces the applications of computational conformal geometry on computer vision research. Specifically, we focus on algorithms utilizing the topology and geometry information to effective index, classify, and register 3D shapes. Several research topics, including Teichmüller shape space, 3D facial shape index and signatures of 2D Shapes, together with their experimental results, are detailed in this chapter.
